While we think she might be a Shepherd-Pitty mix, her true magic lies in her sweet and devoted nature. Layla can be a bit shy at first, taking her time to warm up to new people. But once she trusts you, her tail wags, her eyes sparkle, and she showers you with quiet affection. She's a gentle soul who loves to snuggle and soak up pets, communicating her love without words.
Layla is an absolute doggy superstar! She thrives with canine companionship and is social, friendly, and polite with other dogs. She enjoys snuggling, relaxing, and walking alongside her doggy friends. A calm, male dog in her forever home would be ideal to help her feel safe and confident, providing the friendship she adores. She's not looking for a boisterous playmate, but rather a lifelong best friend. Layla is also cat-tolerant, respecting their space, and would do best with older children (around 8 and up) due to her sensitivity to new people and touch. If you have younger children, a meet-and-greet can help determine if she'll be comfortable.

Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You can track her journey in real-time. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
