A little about them

Please welcome Roman, a sweet 9-year-old Pug who is playful, super friendly, and wonderful with kids and other dogs. He was surrendered when his family could no longer manage his skin issues, and he is now being cared for by PugHearts.

Ideal Home

Roman would be happy with a family who appreciates his playful, friendly personality and can support his ongoing skin care. He is wonderful with kids and other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Roman has extensive black areas of thickened skin with no hair growth and can have a noticeable odor even with two baths each week. Peach fuzz is already beginning to grow in, and his skin will need to be brought under control.

Training & Support

Roman squats to pee and is playful and super friendly. He initially complained about his kennel sleeping arrangements but eventually relented.
