Jon Paul (JP)

Jon Paul (JP) is a sweet, loving, and loyal 10-year-old boy who weighs around 17 lbs. He came to us after being surrendered by his owner. JP is leash-trained, housebroken, and has nice house manners. He tolerates a crate and would prefer a home where someone is there most of the time, as he experiences some separation anxiety. JP gets along with most dogs, but he has a peculiar quirk and does not get along with black dogs or dogs with a large portion of black in their coat.

Ideal Home

JP would do best in a home where someone is present for most of the day due to his separation anxiety.

Ongoing Health

JP is neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped. He has a benign cyst that is not expected to require removal. Like many senior dogs, he may need dental work in the next few years, but his teeth are in good condition for his age currently.

JP is already leash-trained and housebroken with good house manners.
