Berry

Berry is a darling 2-year-old, 10-pound Chihuahua mix who is as sweet as they come. We believe she may be a Chihuahua and Italian Greyhound mix. Berry's story is one of resilience; she was adopted from a rural shelter where she became unexpectedly pregnant. Thankfully, she and her puppies were brought to safety by a rescue partner, and Berry proved to be an incredible mom. Now, as her puppies prepare for their own forever homes, Berry is ready to be someone's beloved dog. Her foster describes her as incredibly loving and sweet, having blossomed from a shy and timid pup into a cuddly companion who enjoys spending time with her people and other dogs.

Ideal Home

Berry needs a home where she'll receive consistent stimulation, exercise, and love. A positive reinforcement training class (virtual or in-person) is highly recommended to promote great behavior, bonding, and confidence.

Ongoing Health

Berry is up to date on her vaccinations, has been fully vetted, and is heartworm negative. She is currently recovering from motherhood and will be spayed prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Berry was initially very shy and timid but has warmed up considerably. She just needs a safe space to decompress and time to adjust to her new environment. A positive reinforcement training class is a requirement for adoption to help build her confidence and ensure success.
