Monty

Monty, an approximately 4-year-old, 75-pound male Pit Bull Terrier mix, is ready to wiggle his way into your heart! He was found as a stray in Virginia Beach. Monty is a handsome boy with a big block head, floppy ears, and a huge smile. He's described as short but strong, with adorable wrinkles and a wiggly disposition. Monty is a treat-motivated fellow who takes his snacks gently. He's surprisingly easy to walk on a leash and loves to be close to his people. We're still getting to know Monty, but he's already shown himself to be a friendly and affable companion.

Ideal Home

Monty would love a home where he can be near you. If you have a resident dog, please bring them in for a meet and greet to ensure they'll be good companions.

Monty is treat-motivated and takes treats gently, which is a great starting point for further training.
