RUSSET

Russet is a handsome six-year-old, 34 lb Hound mix with warm, dark eyes, expressive ears, and a greying muzzle that adds to his distinguished charm. He arrived at the shelter on June 27th, and everyone who has met him agrees - he's a great dog! Russet is past the unpredictable puppy stage and is settled, confident, and ready to be your perfect companion. His joyful smile is infectious, and he's eager to share his love and good nature with a forever family.

Ideal Home

Russet would be a wonderful addition to almost any living situation, whether it's a cozy apartment or a house with a yard.

Ongoing Health

Russet is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. The adoption fee includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test, and a microchip.

Training & Support

Russet has good leash manners and sits nicely for treats, though he's still learning to take them gently. With a little patience and positive reinforcement, he'll master this in no time!

Russet is currently located at Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008. Shelter hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closed Mondays and holidays).
