Meet Chance!
This friendly young fella came our way after his previous guardian could no longer care for him due to housing instability, and now he's ready for a fresh start with a new best friend. Chance can be a little reserved in new situations, but once he feels comfortable, you'll fall in love with the Chance we've gotten to know: a confident, playful, affectionate boy who's ALL about his people and always up for adventure! Full of youthful energy, Chance can be a rowdy playmate, but he knows his size and has a gentle side, too. He jumps at any opportunity to be outside and explore (especially sniffy walks and backyard zoomies!), and he's particularly fond of fellow dog friends. More than anything, this people-focused boy loves being around his people as much as possible - he has a close circle of humans, but once he gets to know you, he's a deeply loving and loyal companion.
Ideal Home
Chance would love a home where he can enjoy the structure, routine, and stability he needs to be his best dog-self. He has experience living with kids of different ages, but due to his rowdy play style, we think he'd be most successful in a home with older kids. He has experience living with cats and was playful with them; he could be a good match for a home with dog-savvy cats who can assert their boundaries.
