Wilson

Wilson is an approximately 6-month-old Sheepdog/Shepherd mix who is ready to leave his past behind and find a loving forever home. He was rescued from a heartbreaking situation where he spent two months tied to a tree 24/7, regardless of the weather. Despite this difficult start, Wilson has remained an incredibly sweet, loving, and playful dog. He absolutely adores human attention, enjoys playing, and gets along wonderfully with kids and other dogs. Wilson can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once he feels safe and secure, he becomes extremely friendly, affectionate, and loyal. He weighs 33 pounds and is still very much a puppy at heart with plenty of energy.

Ideal Home

Wilson would thrive with an active family who enjoys walks, hikes, outdoor adventures, and spending quality time together. He would especially love a home with a big yard or even acreage where he can finally run freely and experience the joyful life he deserves. Older children who enjoy playing with dogs would also be a wonderful match for him.

Ongoing Health

Wilson is up to date on vaccinations and is neutered.

Training & Support

Wilson is still learning about the world and may need some guidance as he continues to grow. As he is still considered a puppy, he will benefit from continued socialization and positive reinforcement training.
