Hansel is a sweet, gentle Black Mouth Curr mix weighing 46lbs with an estimated birthday of 4/28/2025. He might be a bit shy when first meeting new people, but once he feels comfortable, his wonderful personality truly shines. Hansel enjoys observing the world around him at his own pace and is happy doing his own thing. While he has a calm and independent side, he also loves to play and can get quite energetic when romping with other dogs. He has done well with female dogs he's met so far. Hansel was a superstar at his last adoption event, making new friends of both the two-legged and four-legged variety, and he especially loves kids! He's kennel trained and enjoys curling up with soft blankets and pillows after a day of adventures. Chew toys also keep him happily entertained. Bath time is no problem for this handsome boy; he handles it like a champ!

Transporation
Hansel is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and may take him to nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
