Meet Voodoo, a handsome 2-year-old Husky/Border Collie mix who weighs around 65 pounds. This smart, active, and affectionate boy is looking for a family who is ready to include him in all of life's adventures! Voodoo graduated from our Pups for Parole training program, where he mastered house training, crate training, and leash manners. He's eager to please, loves learning, and is ready to show off all his hard-earned skills in a forever home. Voodoo already knows how to sit, lay down, come, focus, and roll over! He's looking for an understanding and patient family who will give him the time he needs to trust. Once he trusts you, you'll find him to be the most loyal and obedient best friend you could ask for!
Ideal Home
Voodoo would love a house with a securely fenced yard where he can safely run, play, and burn off energy. Due to his prey drive, he will need a home without cats. He enjoys the company of other dogs his size or larger and would love a canine companion to run and play with. However, he can also thrive as an only dog if his family provides plenty of attention, exercise, and interactive playtime. Because of his size and enthusiasm, he would do best with older, sturdy children who won't be easily knocked over during play. Voodoo is an energetic and intelligent dog who needs both physical exercise and mental stimulation.
