Catfish

Catfish is a sweet 8+ year old, 69 lb lady who has seen some tough times but is ready to embrace a brighter future. She arrived at the shelter as a stray, bearing the marks of a difficult past. The shelter environment was a bit overwhelming for her, and sadly, she was placed on the euthanasia list due to illness. Thankfully, a compassionate foster stepped in and rescued her just in the nick of time!

Catfish has an abundance of love to give, and she's learning to accept it with grace. She can be a bit eager for affection, wanting to be close, not out of neediness, but because kindness is a relatively new experience for her. With a patient and loving touch, she's discovering how wonderful it is to feel safe and cherished. She's dog-neutral and would do best with well-behaved canine companions who understand and respect her personal space.
