Duke is a handsome, sleek 38-pound fellow with a heart of pure gold! We believe he's a Pointer mix with a touch of Border Collie, giving him a perfect medium size – sturdy enough for adventures but small enough to be a cozy lap companion. Duke is the ultimate sidekick, always ready to offer moral support with a loving gaze and a happy tail wag. He’s happy to nap at your feet while you work, ensuring you never have to drink your coffee alone!
Ideal Home
Duke is looking for a home with a securely fenced yard where he can romp and play. He prefers a quieter neighborhood environment and isn't a fan of busy apartment living with noisy hallways and elevators.
Ongoing Health
Duke has no known health conditions. He is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also been tested for heartworm.
Training & Support
Duke is already crate trained and is a champion in potty training, with no accidents to report! He has shown to be gentle and patient with children as young as six months old. He also gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes and would love a canine sibling to play with. We are still assessing his feelings about cats and would like to arrange a meet-and-greet to ensure a smooth introduction.

Transportation
Duke is currently in Texas. We offer nationwide transportation for an additional $87 surcharge. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pickup options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
