Connie

Connie is a sweet and slightly reserved female Border Collie/Lab mix, estimated to be born around August 1, 2024. She arrived with her sister, Sue, from a difficult situation where their human was ill and they were left without adequate care. Both pups were underweight and had fleas and ticks, but after receiving much-needed medical attention, good food, and a warm, loving environment, they are now recovering beautifully. Connie is learning to trust and her personality is blossoming. She's a bit more shy than her sister but is a quick learner and is picking up basic commands. Connie weighs approximately 35lbs as of February 2025 and is described as fluffy and lovable. She enjoys the company of people and is learning to play with toys.

Ideal Home

Connie would thrive in a home where she can continue to build her confidence. She is still learning to be a puppy and gain trust, so a patient and loving environment is key.

Ongoing Health

Connie arrived underweight and with fleas and ticks. She has received necessary medical attention and is now healthy and gaining weight.

Training & Support

Connie is a little more reserved than her sister, but she is learning her basics and enjoys interacting with people. She is learning to play with toys and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement and patient guidance as she grows.
