About Lily - Forever Foster wanted "Deaf"

Lily is an 8-year-old, 79-pound bundle of love who is looking for her forever home. She is a deaf sweetheart who forms incredibly deep bonds with her people, often following them everywhere and wanting to be as close as possible. When she feels safe and happy, she has the sweetest smile that will melt your heart. Lily was adopted five years ago and adored her person, but after his passing, she returned to rescue. While she can experience separation anxiety when worried, stressed, or uncertain, she is not destructive. A wonderful trainer has assessed Lily's needs and believes her anxiety is manageable with commitment, consistency, structure, and support. She is house-trained and ready to find a patient and understanding family to give her the stability she deserves.

Ideal Home

Lily thrives in a quiet home where she can be the only pet and the sole focus of her person's affection. A retiree, someone who works from home, or anyone willing to make a consistent commitment to her well-being would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Lily is deaf. As part of our Forever Foster Program, all approved medical expenses beyond routine wellness care will be covered by Road to Home Rescue for the rest of her life.

Training & Support

Lily experiences separation anxiety and may bark when feeling worried, stressed, or uncertain. However, a trusted trainer has confirmed these are fixable issues. He has generously offered to provide direct guidance, support, and tools to her future adopter to help manage her anxiety and build her confidence.
