Meet Nala, your Sweet, Silly Little Shadow! This charming Chihuahua mix, weighing in at 20lbs, was born around February 12, 2023. Nala's story is one that tugs at your heart; she spent weeks wandering the streets, creating a little home out of a cardboard box and blankets, following people (especially kids) just hoping someone would finally choose her. Now safe and thriving in foster care, she's ready to find the forever home she's always deserved. Nala is full of personality... playful, affectionate, and just the right amount of goofy. She loves her toys and will even toss them in the air to play fetch all by herself. She can be a little shy at first, but if you give her about 30 minutes to warm up on her own terms, she will quickly become your loyal little shadow, following you everywhere and soaking up all the love. Nala is the perfect mix of sweet, spunky, and snuggly, and she's ready to bring so much joy, laughter, and love into the lucky home that finally chooses her.
Ideal Home
Nala would thrive in a home that enjoys a fun, affectionate companion and will continue building her confidence. Another dog would be a bonus but isn't required.

Nala is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.
Training & Support
Nala is 95% potty trained and fully crate trained. She already knows "sit" and "crate," while currently working on "stay/wait." She walks on a leash but is still learning to stay focused because everything around her is just so exciting.

Transporation
Nala is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and can be coordinated to nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. Ground transports utilize third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Adopters can track their dog's journey using the Life360 app and receive updates from transport. Facebook chats are also available for tracking updates. Please be prepared to utilize one of these services to follow your adopted dog on transport.
