Meet Fritz!

Fritz is a German Wirehaired Pointer mix, approximately 8 weeks old and weighing in at about 50+ lbs fully grown. He was found as a young pup, nearly hit by a car, and brought to safety. Now, Fritz is thriving and revealing his spunky, fun-loving personality. He's a perfect blend of puppy antics and sweet cuddles, curious, adventurous, and always ready for an activity. True to his breed, he possesses moderate energy and is exceptionally intelligent, enjoying enrichment toys and brain games. Fritz is a quick learner, knows his name, and is eager to master new commands, especially with his love for food rewards. He's beginning to learn independent sleeping habits and requires continued crate training and structure. Fritz is incredibly loving, friendly, and social, doing wonderfully with people, children, and other dogs. While teething, he can be a bit mouthy, so gentle supervision is recommended around younger children as he learns boundaries. Fritz has a whole life ahead of him and deserves a family ready to invest the time, patience, and commitment that puppies, especially those from working breeds, need.

Ideal Home

A family prepared for continued crate training and puppy structure. Fritz is an early riser, typically starting his day around 4:30 AM.

Ongoing Health

Fritz is fully vaccinated for his age, dewormed, microchipped, and on monthly flea and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Fritz is working on learning to sit and can be mouthy while teething, requiring supervision around younger children as he learns boundaries. Puppies require patience, consistency, time, and commitment.

Our primary rescue is based in Houston, Texas, with foster homes in multiple regions. Transport is available to approved adopters for an additional fee.
