Ladybird has had a bit of a bumpy road so far, but she’s ready to trade in the hard times for couch cuddles, belly rubs, and a family to call her own. This sweet, 50-pound mama dog showed up at her foster home as a stray—skinny, a little beat up, and clearly in need of a fresh start. Despite everything she’s been through, Ladybird is pure sunshine. She’s affectionate, gentle, and the kind of dog who just wants to be close to her people. In fact, if you’re looking for a “velcro dog,” congratulations—you’ve found the deluxe model. Ladybird’s favorite place in the world is curled up on the couch right behind you, like your personal fuzzy backrest. She’s got a quirky, goofy personality and plenty of charm. One minute she’s making you laugh with her funny little habits, and the next she’s gazing at you like you’re the greatest human who’s ever lived. On walks, she sticks close by and likes to keep her people within arm’s reach—think loyal sidekick energy. If you’ve ever wanted a dog who acts like your shadow but with better hair, Ladybird is your girl. Ladybird has clearly been overlooked before—but we think the best chapters are still ahead for her. If your home could use a loyal companion, a professional couch snuggler, and a dog who will love you with her whole heart, Ladybird is ready to meet you. Bonus feature: She comes with unlimited affection and a built-in talent for making your couch 50% cozier.
