Meet Betsy Blue, a wiggly, talkative, piglet-sounding sweetheart who's about two years old! We believe Betsy is a Catahoula Leopard Dog and Pittie mix, and with her striking blue and brown eyes, soft floppy ears, and gorgeous coloring, she's as stunning as she is silly. Betsy can be a little shy when first meeting new people, often doing a gentle "drive-by bump" to test the waters before showering you with wiggles. But once she warms up, her joyful, snorty, and hilarious personality truly shines. Her foster says she sounds like a piglet when she gets excited, and she's known to jump for joy when her favorite people enter the room. Once you're in Betsy's inner circle, you'll be greeted with happy wags, enthusiastic wiggles, and the most loving gaze imaginable. This girl has a deep love for her people and is ready to be your devoted best friend.
Ideal Home
Betsy would thrive in a quieter home where she can truly decompress and gain confidence. She would do best with a family who understands and appreciates patience, as she can be slow to open up to new people. Older children who can respect her space and allow her to approach them on her own terms would be a great match.

Betsy is a healthy girl who has been spayed, microchipped, and is up-to-date on all vaccinations and preventative care.
Training & Support
Betsy is an active girl who loves her walks and is a dream on the leash. She's also a toy enthusiast, especially fond of small plush cat toys. She is highly food-motivated, making her fun and easy to train, and she picks up new commands quickly. She has experience living with other dogs and cats, and while initially shy, she blossoms into a playful companion. She has done well with dog-savvy cats.

Transportation
Betsy is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. There is an additional surcharge of $87 for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
