Sadie made the big journey all the way from Texas with her two sisters in search of her forever family. She is currently living with an amazing foster family that includes two parents, three children, a foster dog brother named Bruno, and even four chickens! Sadie loves them all so much, and they have helped her learn that the world is a pretty wonderful place.
Her foster mom says Sadie is the sweetest pup, and she has to agree. She is calm, gentle, and sometimes a little shy when meeting new people. It takes her a little time to warm up, but once she knows you're her friend, she's all about the belly rubs. In fact, she could happily accept belly rubs for the rest of her life! Sadie enjoys chasing balls, carrying her toys around, and playing with Bruno. One of her favorite games is rolling onto her back and hoping he'll wrestle with her. Bruno prefers running and playing chase, and Sadie is still learning the ropes, but she's having fun figuring it all out. When Sadie needs some quiet time, she heads straight to her x-pen. It's her cozy little retreat, complete with soft blankets, favorite toys, and the perfect spot for a nap. Sometimes, when her family leaves, she'll bark for a few minutes just in case they decide to take her along. When that doesn't work, she settles down and relaxes in her special space.

Sadie is currently receiving excellent care from her foster family.
Training & Support
Sadie is doing wonderfully with potty training. She'll give a few small barks at the door when she needs to go outside. Every now and then, her family misses her signal, and she gets so embarrassed, but they remind her that accidents happen and that she's doing a great job. She's on a consistent schedule and is accident-free through the night. Sadie also has excellent manners at mealtime. She eats just the right amount and often leaves a little behind for Bruno. After all, he's sharing his family, home, and toys with her, so she thinks he deserves a treat too!
