About Ranger-Foster or Adopt

Ranger is the kind of dog who blooms gently — like sunlight after a cloudy morning. He can be a little shy at first, but give him a few kind words and a scratch behind the ears, and suddenly you’ve got a loyal shadow with a heart the size of Mississippi. Ranger and his brother Romeo grew up around kids, dogs, and cats and have only ever known love from the family they were raised with. Sadly, their owners could no longer afford to care for them, but despite all the changes in their lives, these boys have remained incredibly sweet and gentle. They’re lower-energy dogs who enjoy lounging around just as much as a romp in the yard. They’ve kennelled with dogs of all sizes without issue and are often used as “temperament test” dogs because they stay calm and non-reactive. Ranger and Romeo have also gone on outings with volunteers and have done wonderfully meeting new people and other dogs. Ranger is leash-trained, great in the car, neutered, fully vaccinated, about 2 years old, and a lab mix. Once they’re in loving homes, their sweet personalities will blossom even more. All they’re missing now is someone to choose them. Ranger and Romeo can be fostered or adopted to separate homes.
