Eunice is a loving, playful Beagle and Basset Hound mix who came to DASH from rural Kentucky. She was initially very shy and shut down, but she is blossoming in the DASH Prison Program and enjoys giving and receiving affection.

Ideal Home

Eunice would love an active family or person who understands her breed mix needs regular activity. She enjoys playing and can settle down to relax with her people. She loves boy dogs but can be selective with female dogs, so proper introductions are important. Her interactions with children have not been tested.

Training & Support

• Eunice has mastered a few basic commands and is continuing her training.
• She is working on crate training, potty training, and walking on a leash.
• She can be protective of her food and toys around other dogs, so her family should continue working with her.
