Mister Winkle, a 13-year-old, 10-pound Shih Tzu mix, is a seasoned gentleman who enjoys his beauty sleep. He arrived at our rescue needing a lot of rest, but now he happily explores his surroundings, much like Goldilocks searching for the perfect bed. Despite his gentle demeanor, Winkle is a resilient soul who has overcome past health challenges. He eats soft food and treats and his cataracts don't hinder his ability to navigate his environment or find his favorite people for snuggles. Winkle is also financially savvy, with a savings account of $1,500 to contribute towards his future veterinary care, ensuring he can peacefully enjoy his golden years by your side.

Winkle enjoys his comfort and would thrive in a home where he can explore and find his favorite spots for naps.

Ongoing Health

Winkle has had all his teeth removed due to severe dental disease and enjoys soft food and treats. He also has cataracts, but this does not impede his ability to get around. Recently, he had an anal sac tumor removed. POMDR is offering a $1,500 stipend to help with potential future medical expenses.
