Flaca

Flaca is a resilient and sweet girl who found herself on her own for about a month in Redlands, Miami, Florida. She was left behind when her owner fell ill and had to leave his farm and his dogs. During her time outdoors, Flaca discovered a local rescuer's feeding station, and thankfully, she was eventually brought to safety with PLAY! K9 Rescue. She is now settling in, and we're learning more about her wonderful personality and needs. Flaca is a dominant female who does wonderfully in a pack. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she would also be happy as an only dog.

Ideal Home

Flaca would do best in a home without small children who might invade her space. She has previously bitten a child who entered her crate, which, while understandable given the circumstances, is something we want to be transparent about to ensure her future success.

Ongoing Health

Flaca's adoption fee includes all vet care she has received during her time with us, ensuring she is healthy and ready for her forever home.

Training & Support

Flaca is a dominant female and is described as doing well in a pack. She would do great as an only dog as well. She has shown that she does not do well in a home with small children that invade her space. She has bitten a child that invaded her crate space. PLAY! K9 Rescue offers lifelong training support from PLAY! K9 Academy in Bradenton, FL.
