Meet Dougie! This sweet 6-year-old Shih Tzu mix, weighing around 14 lbs, is the epitome of easygoing. He's happiest lounging beside his favorite people, soaking up all the love and attention he can get. Dougie was rescued from a local shelter and is now ready to find his forever home.

Ideal Home

Dougie would love a home where he can relax and be close to his humans. He enjoys walks and is very friendly with other dogs, always eager to make new canine friends.

Ongoing Health

Dougie is generally healthy and has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Dougie can be a little cautious when meeting new people and may bark if he feels unsure, but he warms up quickly with a gentle approach and a good scratch behind the ears. He is mostly house-trained but may have an occasional accident if he isn't let out in time. He sleeps in his crate at night and spends some time in it during the day. While he may whine briefly when crated, he settles down nicely.
