Raquel

Raquel is an eleven-month-old Anatolian Shepherd with a heart as big as her frame. She came from a large hoarding situation where she didn't receive the socialization a young dog needs. While she's a bit unsure of new things, she's incredibly sweet and eager to trust. Raquel just needs a little time to process and settle in, but she's making wonderful progress every day and is moving past her initial shyness.

Ideal Home

Raquel will grow into a large dog, likely over 100 pounds, so a home prepared for her size is essential. A securely fenced yard is required. She's good with other dogs and cats. Due to her tendency to startle easily and her ongoing confidence building, we recommend a home with children over the age of 10.

Training & Support

Raquel is still learning about indoor living, leash walking, and household activities due to her lack of early socialization. She's not difficult, just inexperienced and a little uncertain.
