Affectionate, intelligent, and full of personality, Murphy has been deeply loved—and it shows in how much he connects with people. He is hopeful his second chance is right around the corner—a foster or forever home where he can truly shine. Murphy thrives on connection. He loves being part of the family—joining in on daily life, soaking up attention, and making you smile. He’s smart and eager to please, already knowing commands like sit, stay, and lie down (especially when treats are involved). He also enjoys a good game of fetch, especially with his favorite stuffed toys.
Ideal Home
Murphy would do best in a home that can provide guidance, routine, and an outlet for his energy. A home with another dog would be a wonderful bonus.

Training & Support
Murphy is house-trained and great on leash and enjoys walks. Like many dogs his age, he can get excited when greeting people and may jump up, but with structure and consistency, he will continue to improve. He is smart, trainable, and eager to learn.
