Bear

Bear is a sweet and handsome boy who ended up at the shelter when his owner fell ill. It's evident he was a deeply cherished companion. He's approximately 4.5 years old and tips the scales at over 100 pounds. Bear is a smart cookie, knowing commands like "sit," "come," and "heel." He's also pretty good at "stay," especially when he feels like being a good listener! He walks well on a leash, has a huge love for playing ball, and is a friendly fellow who would make a great family dog. Bear gets along best with female dogs, but he's also perfectly content to be the one and only canine in the household.

Bear would thrive in a home that can accommodate his size and energy. He’s a great family dog and enjoys playing ball.

Ongoing Health

Bear is up-to-date on flea and heartworm prevention and will receive a health exam and certificate from a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.

Training & Support

Bear knows several commands and walks well on a leash. He is a good listener, especially when he feels like it!
