Life is simply more fun with Lentil Lou in it! This sweet, goofy German Shepherd mix has the joyful spirit of an oversized puppy and a heart full of love to give. Lentil Lou is incredibly social, greeting the world with pure happiness and always ready to make a new friend. She adores other dogs and lights up during playtime with her charming silliness. Lentil Lou is the perfect blend of cuddly sweetheart and playful goofball, bringing laughter, affection, and nonstop cuteness wherever she goes. She's believed to be about 1 year old and weighs 48 lbs.

Ideal Home

Lentil Lou would thrive in a home with a semi-active family that enjoys neighborhood walks and is looking for a super affectionate companion. She'd also make an amazing adventure buddy! A backyard for her to stretch her legs and soak up the sunshine would be wonderful. We believe she would be happiest in a home with children 12 years and older.

Training & Support

Lentil Lou is a smart girl who is treat-motivated and eager to please. She already knows how to sit and walks fairly nicely on a leash, though she may pull occasionally out of excitement. She responds well to gentle reminders and is comfortable tandem walking with other dogs. Lentil Lou is crate trained and potty trained. With patience, consistency, and treats, training with her will be a fun and rewarding bonding experience.

Transporation

Lentil Lou is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
