Meet Cooper! Cooper is an approximately 9-year-old, 8-pound Chihuahua mix with the confidence of a much larger dog and absolutely no understanding of his actual size. He was an owner surrender to JPAWS with severe luxating patellas. His left knee couldn't be repaired, but Cooper adapted like a champ! His right knee was successfully repaired, and Cooper has never let his leg slow him down. He runs, plays, patrols the fence, and chases his much larger foster brother. Cooper gets along well with other dogs, especially when treats are involved. However, he prefers his personal space when he's on any soft surfaces like beds or blankets. His favorite place is under the blankets next to his person. He's an excellent sleeper, never makes a peep overnight, and will politely paw at your ankles if he wants to be picked up. Cooper recently had a dental cleaning and is now ready for his forever home. Cooper went through an "Electrician Phase" where he chewed some cords, so it's recommended to keep cords picked up just in case.
Ideal Home
Cooper would appreciate a home that respects his personal space when he is on soft surfaces like beds or blankets.
Ongoing Health
