Ripley 5125

Ripley is a sweet and innocent adult female dog who was rescued by Big Dog Ranch from a dire situation in North Alabama. When our team arrived, we found Ripley and 28 other dogs in urgent need of help. It took a dedicated team nearly seven hours to safely bring them all to safety. Many were scared and unsure, but never aggressive, just overwhelmed by their circumstances.

Now, Ripley is safe at Big Dog Ranch, receiving much-needed medical care, nutritious meals, and plenty of love and patience. She is slowly learning to trust our K9 care staff and discovering that gentle pets, kind voices, and warm hugs are a wonderful thing. Some of the dogs are even learning to walk on a leash for the first time! Ripley is a large mixed breed with a yellow/tan/blond/fawn coat.

Ideal Home

Ripley is looking for a home that can offer her patience, love, and understanding as she continues to adjust to her new life. She is good with dogs and will be a loving companion.

Ongoing Health

Ripley has received necessary medical care and is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Ripley is learning new things every day, including how to walk on a leash. She will benefit from continued positive reinforcement and a patient approach to build her confidence.
