Chino is a sweet, 4-year-old Maltese who is looking for a special kind of home. He's a bit shy and is still learning to trust, but once he does, he'll be your most devoted companion. He enjoys quiet affection and would prefer a home where he can be your one and only. He's treat-motivated, especially by cheese, and walks well on a leash. Chino isn't a big player with other dogs, preferring to snuggle with his person. If you have a gentle heart and a patient spirit, Chino might be the perfect furry friend for you.

Ideal Home

Chino would thrive in a calm environment with a single person or older adult who has prior dog experience. He needs a patient owner who understands that building trust takes time and can offer him consistency and quiet affection.

Transporation

Chino is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide using our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick-up is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
