Dante

This handsome guy is Dante! He's a young husky/shepherd mix, born in June 2024, and currently weighs about 50 pounds. Dante is a smart, playful pup bursting with personality, but we won't sugarcoat it – he's a handful! He's friendly, has had obedience training, and loves to work for treats, knowing plenty of commands. However, he's a bit of a free spirit and will pick and choose when he feels like listening.

A dog like Dante thrives outside of a kennel environment, where his mental and physical needs can be met. He's looking for a special adopter with the skill, time, and patience to help him reach his full potential. Ideal Home

Dante needs an experienced dog handler who can establish and maintain leadership from the start, as he will challenge his handler. A fully fenced-in yard is required. We believe he would do best in a home with one or two adults. He has the potential to live with another dog, but a meet-and-greet would be essential.
