Latte is a sweet, one-year-old Staffordshire Terrier/Retriever mix who weighs about 52 pounds. She's a vibrant and energetic young lady who is blossoming in her foster home with consistent guidance and positive reinforcement. Latte is incredibly eager to please and is highly motivated by treats, making her a joy to train. She already knows "sit" and "down," and she's diligently working on her leash manners. While she can be a bit hesitant in new environments, her foster mom is helping her build confidence by exploring different places. Latte has shown no negative reactions to people or other dogs she encounters on walks.
Since being rescued in December 2025, Latte has made significant progress, both in her maturity and in her response to her foster home's structure. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is a playful companion, even with smaller dogs and puppies. She's also been gentle around small children and babies. Latte is a loving and affectionate pup who truly wants to be a good girl. With her eagerness to learn and loving nature, she'll undoubtedly make a fantastic companion for an active family ready to help her continue to grow.
Ideal Home
Latte is a high-energy dog who would thrive in an active household that can provide her with plenty of exercise and ongoing training. She would absolutely love having another active dog to play with, as she can get quite excited and bouncy around new canine friends. If she were to be the only dog in the home, she would require daily exercise and enrichment to ensure she thrives.

Latte is spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations.
Training & Support
Latte is working on her leash manners and can be nervous walking in new environments. Her foster mom is actively working on building her confidence by taking her to new places. She is fully house-trained and does well in her crate, where she can stay for approximately four hours. She shows no signs of separation anxiety.

Transporation
Latte is currently located in Houston, Texas, and is able to be transported out of state. Transport is included in the adoption donation and runs every few weeks.
