Kirby

Kirby is an 11-week-old, 16 lb male German Shepherd/Retriever mix with big, expressive eyes, looking for his forever home. He was found as a stray, scared and lonely, but a kind family took him in. Now, he shares a foster home with a canine big brother, who has become his best friend. Kirby also coexists peacefully with cats and enjoys playing with children. He's doing remarkably well with potty training and has even learned to signal when he needs to go out by ringing a bell. Kirby is comfortable eating and sleeping in his crate and loves to play with toys. He's sometimes found napping in his older brother's crate, which is quite endearing!

Ideal Home

Kirby would thrive in an active home with a resident dog who can be his playmate and mentor. An family that enjoys regular walks and outdoor activities would be a perfect fit.

Ongoing Health

Kirby is up-to-date on all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies). He is not yet neutered, but this procedure will be completed prior to transport.

Training & Support

Kirby is already doing a great job with potty training and crate training. He enjoys playing with toys and seems to be adapting well to his foster environment.

Transporation

Kirby is currently located in South Texas. He will be transported to his adoptive family's home within the United States and Canada. Our organization delivers to various states on the East and West Coast, including Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, and Maryland, among others.
