Meet Tilly, a compact ray of sunshine with a smile that can brighten anyone’s day! This adorable American Staffy mix is estimated to be born around May 4, 2024, and weighs 38.8 lbs. Tilly has a perfectly stout build and an even bigger personality. She greets everyone with a wiggly body, a fast-wagging tail, and endless affection. Tilly absolutely loves going for walks and exploring the world by your side. While she can get a little excited on leash at times, she responds well and is eager to please. Tilly’s story almost ended far too soon when she found herself on the euthanasia list at a local shelter, but thankfully, Sunnyside Street Dogs stepped in to give her the second chance she deserved. Despite everything she’s been through, Tilly remains incredibly loving, social, and full of joyful energy. This sweet girl is treat-motivated, eager to learn, and responds wonderfully to redirection, making her a great candidate for continued training. She appears to be potty trained, settles nicely in her kennel, and knows how to relax once playtime is over. Tilly is the perfect combination of playful companion and cuddle buddy, ready to fill a lucky home with love, happiness, and loyalty.

Transportation
Tilly is located in Houston, TX. Out-of-state transport is available. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
