Kermit the Dog is a handsome 2-year-old, 44lb brindle boy with sleek lines and tiger stripes! He's the perfect size for adventures and cozy couch snuggles. Kermit is house-trained, crate-trained, and has excellent house manners. He's a confident traveler in the car, recalls well, and settles in nicely once he feels comfortable in new surroundings. He's a true "Velcro boy" who loves to lean, snuggle, and be close to his people, but he also respects boundaries and responds well to structure.
Ideal Home
Kermit would thrive in a home with an adopter who appreciates an energetic, sensitive, and affectionate dog. He'll enjoy a mix of playful yard time and quiet evenings. He must have a cat-free home, as he shows fear and nervousness around cats.
Ongoing Health
Kermit is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccines, and deworming. He also receives a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped.
Training & Support
Kermit has solid house and crate training. He is good with other dogs of all sizes and genders, enjoying social play with those who share his bouncy style. He's polite on leash when meeting new dogs and happy to join in if the vibe is right, but he's also content to observe or play on his own. He is particularly drawn to confident female dogs.

An $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
