Staci is an almost 2-year-old, 18-pound mixed breed who's still learning that the world and people can be safe. She's shy, sensitive, and not the type to jump into your lap or demand attention. But here's the thing about Staci, she wants to trust. You can see it in her eyes. Right now, trust looks like sitting next to you on the couch, letting familiar people gently pet her (big wins!), and feeling safe enough to relax nearby. Those might sound like small things, but for Staci, they're huge. She is completely house-trained, a quiet, low-energy couch companion, and gets along great with other dogs (she truly needs one!). Staci has also done well with cats and is never aggressive, just scared and learning. Staci is a dog's dog through and through. She needs a confident, playful dog sibling to help her feel safe and bring out her playful side (zoomies included!). Staci may not love you on day one, or even week one. But one day, she'll choose to sit next to you. Then stay a little longer. And maybe, just maybe, lean in. And when she does, you'll know: you earned it.
Ideal Home
Staci needs a quiet, low-traffic home with a confident dog sibling (required) and a very secure fenced yard plus supervised outdoor time. She also needs someone patient, gentle, and home often. No young kids, as fast movements are a little scary for her. She's also a bit of an escape artist, so her future family will need to be extra mindful outside – she's quick, and safety is everything.
Ongoing Health
Staci is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and current on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives.
