Lexi

Lexi is a vibrant, intelligent, sweetheart of a lady who is 8 years old and weighs 6 lbs. She has a happy disposition and loves attention, especially cuddling. She was surrendered to us because her previous owners were displaced and could no longer care for her. Despite her age, she doesn't act or feel like anything is wrong and enjoys watching TV and spending time outdoors when it's not too hot. She is an angel who loves to sleep in a human bed and eat.

Ideal Home

Lexi would do best in a calm household that focuses on her needs. She enjoys the company of other dogs and would like a home where she can cuddle with her furry siblings. Sleeping in a human bed is a must for Lexi, as is 100% unconditional love and affection from her humans.

Ongoing Health

Lexi has been diagnosed with early-stage renal disease. She is currently on Benazapril and a K/D diet (both soft and hard food), which she loves. To manage her condition, she will need bi-yearly bloodwork to monitor her protein in urine, creatinine, and albumin levels.

Training & Support

Lexi is mostly house-trained and does her business outside, though she might make a mistake here and there. She doesn't actively play with other dogs but doesn't seem bothered by them.
