Shelby

Shelby is a sweet and playful puppy who is patiently waiting for her forever home. She's a bit shy and will benefit from a household with multiple people to help her gain confidence. Shelby enjoyed her foster weekend, especially interacting with a playful dog. She's eager to learn and already knows the "sit" command and loves food! While she walked well on leash, she can be easily spooked by new environmental things, so exposure to various sights and sounds will help her adjust. Shelby is still a puppy with lots of energy, so she'll need enrichment to prevent boredom. She is generally a very sweet girl and will likely need a week or two to feel comfortable in her new surroundings.

Ideal Home

Shelby would do best in a home with multiple people to help with her shyness and a playful dog to encourage her social skills.

Shelby is up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Shelby is still working on house-training for peeing outside and may have occasional accidents. She can get bored easily and needs stimulation to prevent her from finding her own "fun." Exposure to new environments will help her overcome her shyness.
