Eeyore 2026

Eeyore is a sweet Beagle/Basset Hound-type mixed breed boy. He's just about perfect -- long ears, long body, long tail. He's a short, sturdy sweetheart of a boy who loves to meet new people, especially new people with treats. Eeyore is approximately 5 years old and weighs 36 pounds. He's good with everyone, cats, and dogs! He came to us from an overcrowded rural shelter. We took one look at that face and said yes. Eeyore is your kind of guy if you're looking for an easy-to-love, medium-energy companion.

Ideal Home

Eeyore would love to have a home with a physically fenced yard where he can tool around and sniff to his heart's content.

Ongoing Health

Eeyore just had a dental cleaning with 11 extractions, but don't worry, he has plenty of teeth to gobble down his food.

Training & Support

Eeyore is housebroken and crate trained.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• All current pets in the home must be spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention.
• Veterinary references will be checked to ensure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care.
• Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized.

Transporation

You can meet Eeyore at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter.
