Ferguson

Meet Ferguson! This absolutely adorable 4-year-old French bulldog came to us from another rescue. Ferguson arrived unable to walk, with no use of his back legs. We rushed him to our vet, where we discovered he has intervertebral disc disease, causing weakness and pain in his hindquarters. Fortunately, he does not require surgery! Ferguson has recently achieved a huge milestone: he can now stand and is walking, gaining strength daily! Despite his challenges, Ferguson is one of the sweetest, most loving boys we know. He is a friendly and playful pup, gets along well with other dogs, and is always happy to see you. This goofball still has a road ahead, but with his fighting spirit and unending love, Ferguson will undoubtedly thrive! We promised Ferguson that the rest of his life would be the best of his life. Ferguson has intervertebral disc disease, which caused initial weakness and pain in his back legs. He has been cleared for surgery and is actively working on regaining strength and mobility.

Training & Support

Ferguson is a playful and friendly dog who gets along well with other dogs. He still has a road ahead of him as he recovers, and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement and a supportive environment.

Transporation

Ferguson is located in South Carolina. We transport to the northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet.
