Meet Hamish, affectionately known as "Hamish the Ham!" One look at his adorably dopey smile, and you'll understand exactly how he earned his nickname. This 5-month-old Border Collie/Great Pyrenees mix is impossible not to love. With his goofy grin, gentle personality, and curious spirit, Hamish has a way of making everyone he meets smile right back.
Hamish is the kind of puppy who can happily entertain himself with a toy or a good stick, but he's always excited when it's time for an adventure. Whether it's a walk around the neighborhood, a play session with another dog, or hopping in the car for a ride, he's ready to tag along. In fact, car rides are one of his favorite things! He even knows the command "load up," and patiently waits for his leash before jumping out. Talk about a gentleman! This sweet boy loves meeting new people and has never met a stranger. He's wonderful with dogs, cats, and children of all ages, making him an easy addition to many different types of families. Hamish is also one smart cookie. He already has an impressive whistle recall and catches on to new routines quickly. His Border Collie brains combined with his Great Pyrenees independence make him a puppy who enjoys learning while still having a little free-thinking personality of his own.

Hamish would thrive in a home where someone is around more often than not. He would also benefit from having another friendly dog to keep him company and help build his confidence when his family is away.
