Meet Shelly! This delightful 1-year-old female Staffie mix is about 60lbs of pure joy and ready to find her forever adventure buddy. Shelly's foster mom describes her as an adorable ball of energy who is always up for a hike or a long walk. She'd probably make a great running partner too! Once she's had her fill of playtime, Shelly is ready to snuggle up and soak in all the love and belly rubs.
Ideal Home
Shelly is looking for a home where she can go on adventures and get plenty of love. While she hasn't met many children, because she gets so excited around people, we recommend older, dog-savvy kids. Shelly did well with two male Mastiffs in her previous home, but she can be selective with female dogs. For this reason, we recommend Shelly be your one and only pet at this time. We have no information about her history with cats.

Training & Support
Shelly is a goofy girl who is working on her basic manners, but she is a quick learner! She already knows "sit" and loves to offer her paw for treats. Shelly is house-trained and will let you know when she needs to go out by tapping the door with her paw. She also does well in her kennel.

Transportation
Shelly is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. She can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is found. Transports run every few weeks, and we will schedule Shelly on the next available transport once approved.
