Morty Mello the Marshmallow Sweetheart

Morty Mello is a marshmallow sweetheart with a giant head and the soul of a cozy throw pillow. He's perfected the art of relaxing and makes everything feel easy, from being around him to loving him. Morty is a 6-year-old, 75lb pittie mix who is as gentle as they come. He's dog-friendly and enjoys his own space in the yard, unbothered by other dogs playing around him. He's happy to hang out and watch the fun, making him a perfect companion for quiet companionship. Morty is also quiet in his crate, walks beautifully on leash, and has wonderful house manners, making him an excellent work-from-home companion or a lazy Sunday movie marathon date.

Ideal Home

Morty would do best with another dog of similar size and temperament, one who also enjoys a calm and collected lifestyle. He does not require a canine companion and would also be content as the sole dog in the household. Morty would also do best in a kitty-free home. A backyard with space to sunbathe, roll in the grass, and investigate smells would be ideal, though he could also adapt well to apartment living.

Training & Support

Morty is fully potty trained and has wonderful house manners. He is a simple dog who doesn't ask for much, just love, a comfy place to nap, and a family to call his own.

Transporation

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport drop off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
