Callum

Callum is a handsome 2-year-old terrier mix boy with a wonderfully scruffy coat and ears that have a personality all their own! He arrived at the shelter as a stray and can be a bit worried and withdrawn, sometimes huddling in a corner. However, he has allowed brave volunteers to offer him gentle lap time. Callum has shown he's compatible with other small male dogs and is currently co-housed with them. He shows a shy interest in human attention, but his worries and sensitivities mean he needs a calm and patient approach. It will take time for him to feel comfortable and build trust, but the rewards of watching him blossom will be immense.

Ideal Home

Callum needs a quiet, adults-only forever home where he'll have the time and space to decompress, gain confidence, and learn to trust.

Training & Support

Callum may benefit from a friendly, confident resident dog to help him learn household routines and leash walking skills. He could also be a happy solo dog if he has well-matched dog friends.
