Meet Luna - a 2-year-old Staffordshire mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for the simple things in life. Weighing in at nearly 70 pounds, Luna is all about affection, cuddles, and being close to her people once she feels safe. One of her absolute favorite things is a drive-thru, especially when a pup cup is involved! Luna is also a great co-pilot and does really well in the car, making her always ready for a ride and a little adventure.
Luna can be cautious in new environments, and the shelter was especially scary for her when she first arrived. Because of that, she'll need a home that understands she may take time to decompress and settle in. She does best with someone familiar with the 3-3-3 rule and who can give her patience, structure, and reassurance as she adjusts. Luna is dog selective because she has a distinct play style. With proper introductions and once she gets to know a dog, she can be very playful and social, but she's not a fit for dog parks. She hasn't been around cats yet, but she did previously share a backyard with chickens. Once she feels comfortable, Luna's personality really shines. She is housebroken, very affectionate, and loves a good cuddle session with her favorite person. She may start off a little unsure, but what she really wants is security, consistency, and a forever home where she can finally relax and be loved.
