Snowball / Redington Beach

Say hello to Snowball! This energetic, 1-year-old, white Poodle mix is about 5.5 lbs of pure joy with the cutest face. He came to us after a Good Samaritan found him abandoned in a Walmart parking lot and contacted VIP Rescue to ensure he found the best possible home. Snowball is a very smart boy who is eager to learn. He's already mastered puppy stairs to go outside for playtime and potty breaks. He absolutely loves to play with the other dogs in his foster home and enjoys his leash walks.

Ideal Home

Snowball needs a home with another young, active, small-sized dog to be his playmate and learn from. He also requires a family with plenty of time, patience, and consistency, as young dogs need a lot of attention. A home where someone works from home or is only away for a few hours a day would be ideal, as he's still learning house manners and his tiny bladder can't hold it for long. He also needs a home with watchful eyes to ensure he doesn't get into trouble, and people who are agile, active, and very alert to keep an eye out for him, as he is small and can easily get underfoot. Please, no big dogs.

Ongoing Health

Snowball is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and has started on heartworm and flea prevention.

Training & Support

Snowball is currently working on potty training and house manners. He has been training with pee pads and needs continued patience as he learns. He also needs guidance to prevent him from getting into things he shouldn't.

• All pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, current on all vaccines and preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care.

• Keep in mind that this breed typically lives 15-18 years, and your age should be appropriate for the pet's estimated lifespan.
