Huckleberry

Huckleberry is a charming Pug mix with a heart of gold, estimated to be between 18 to 24 months old. He came to us as an owner surrender and is described as cute and very friendly. Huckleberry is a little shy and initially seems to prefer being the sole canine companion, though he is showing improvement and learning to settle in. With a little patience, he's sure to blossom into a wonderful pet.

Ideal Home

Huckleberry would do best in a home with no more than one or two other dogs. He is still getting used to other animals and needs a patient family to help him adjust.

Ongoing Health

Huckleberry has a condition affecting one of his eyes, and he is also heartworm positive. He will need to undergo treatment for heartworm and will be neutered. The veterinarians will assess his eye condition further to determine the best course of action.

Training & Support

As Huckleberry is still settling in, he will benefit from a consistent routine and gentle guidance. Providing him with time and a calm environment will help him feel secure and build confidence.
