Her father could no longer care for her, and she's currently with his daughter, Rachel. However, Slim gets nervous with all the hustle and bustle of Rachel's home, which includes children and other dogs. She thrives in a calmer environment and enjoys cuddles once she trusts you.

A quieter home would be ideal for Slim, where she can relax and feel secure. She is not used to a loud home and would prefer to be the only pet.
