Meet Rowan! This 2-year-old Akita is a gentle giant at 65 lbs, with a heart as big as his paws. Rowan just wants to be close to his people, snuggling up by your side and soaking in all the love. He's content relaxing in the yard and doesn't need a lot of activity, though he does enjoy adventure walks, squeaky toys, belly rubs, and anything food-related! Rowan is eager to please and easy to train, making him a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates his loyal and affectionate nature. Like most Akitas, he's a natural guardian, deeply devoted and protective once he bonds with his people. Rowan is a truly one-of-a-kind companion who offers both love and protection.

Ideal Home

Rowan would do best in a home without small children, as they make him nervous and he has barked at some while out walking. He also has a prey drive and will need a home without cats.

Ongoing Health

Rowan is up-to-date on shots, microchipped, and neutered.

Rowan is eager to please and easy to train.
